Whisperwool acoustic panels made of sheep's wool are suitable for mounting on ceilings and walls. Our acoustic ceilings and wall coverings can be installed either with joints or seamlessly. Whisperwool absorber panels are available in different colors, textures and mounting options and can be designed in a variety of ways.

Through knitting, crocheting, bobbin lace making or special weaving techniques, sheep's wool has been processed for centuries into semi-transparent textiles such as lace or guipure, mainly in rural areas and later also industrially.
Whisperwool continues this tradition and, together with selected designers, has created innovative products using Tyrolean and Alpine sheep's wool that offer privacy without darkening or separating rooms too much - sophisticated alternatives to classic curtains, blinds or vertical blinds.

Absorption Values
Whisperwool absorbs the frequencies in the main speech range without overdamping (300 to 3500 Hertz). Whisperwool acoustic panels and acoustic panels are highly sound-absorbing from a frequency of 100 Hertz (lower values were not recorded). Whisperwool has a very good “early decay time” (EDT Early Decay Time), a benchmark from acoustics that evaluates the perceived reverberation time (reverberation).
The distance from the wall increases the absorption in the low frequencies and the absorption effect can be increased with additional back insulation. This means that usually only half the area is required compared to other systems to create pleasant rooms.
