ACOUSTIC TILES
Whisperwool acoustic panels made of sheep's wool are suitable for mounting on ceilings and walls. Our acoustic ceilings and wall coverings can be installed either with joints or seamlessly. Whisperwool absorber panels are available in different colors, textures and mounting options and can be designed in a variety of ways.

Whisperwool acoustic panels made of sheep's wool for the ceiling are mounted on a substructure. The acoustic ceiling panels can be connected to each other over a large area. Installation is possible with joints or seamlessly. Whisperwool absorber panels are available in different colors, textures and mounting options. The acoustic properties of the panels calm noisy rooms and offer the optimal solution for architecture and design.
Whisperwool acoustic panels made of sheep's wool for the wall are mounted on a substructure. The acoustic wall panels can be connected to each other over large areas. Installation is possible with joints or seamlessly. Whisperwool absorber panels are available in different colors, textures and mounting options. Whisperwool wall coverings noticeably improve room acoustics and can be designed in a variety of ways.
"What excites me about Whisperwool is that it is a natural product and can be integrated into wall and ceiling systems in a variety of ways as an acoustic solution.
We use Whisperwool again and again. Because in addition to the acoustic effectiveness, the room air is also cleaned and, as in our company, it contains 100% Tyrol.

Absorption Values
Whisperwool absorbs the frequencies in the main speech range without overdamping (300 to 3500 Hertz). Whisperwool acoustic panels and acoustic panels are highly sound-absorbing from a frequency of 100 Hertz (lower values were not recorded). Whisperwool has a very good “early decay time” (EDT Early Decay Time), a benchmark from acoustics that evaluates the perceived reverberation time (reverberation).
The distance from the wall increases the absorption in the low frequencies and the absorption effect can be increased with additional back insulation. This means that usually only half the area is required compared to other systems to create pleasant rooms.
Assembly
Whisperwool acoustic panels are mounted on a substructure. The Whisperwool acoustic panels are nailed onto a grid of wooden slats measuring 90 by 45 cm. Construction adhesive must also be used as a suspended ceiling component. The pin heads penetrate slightly into the top layer. However, the felty surface closes again and the nail heads become invisible.
Whisperwool can be processed with standard tools. The panels can be cut with millimeter precision using cutter knives. But circular saws with allowances or jigsaws with serrated blades can also be used.
Whisperwool can be drilled, milled and oscillation cut. Water jet cutting and laser cutting with special systems is also possible.
Whisperwool can be bent and folded to a certain extent.
